Store Colleague - Part Time

About JD Group

Established in 1981 with a single store in the Northwest of England, the JD Group is a leading omni-channel retailer of Sports Fashion, Outdoors, and Gyms, with colleagues working in stores across several retail fascias in many markets around the world. JD Sports Fashion Plc was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1996 and has been a FTSE100 publicly quoted company since 2019. We continue to grow in the UK and internationally.

We want to be the leading global omnichannel retailer in the sports and outdoor industry. To be part of this successful company and help us achieve this, you will have the desire to ingrain our strategic goals:

  • A people-led organisation.
  • Driven by innovation.
  • Focused on customer excellence.
  • Delivering operational excellence.
  • Identifying new areas of growth as part of our day-to-day objectives.

Store Colleague

As a Store Colleague, you’ll be a key part of delivering the JD Group experience every day, helping customers feel welcome, supported, and excited about what we offer. You’ll play a vital role in:

  • Greeting customers with energy.
  • Keeping displays sharp and appealing.
  • Ensuring stock is always on hand for customers.

A positive attitude, strong teamwork, and a passion for great service will help you uphold the high standards we are known for — from presentation to customer experience.

If you’re ready to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, bring enthusiasm to every shift, and grow your skills with the support of a great team, this role is your chance to make an impact and build a strong foundation for your future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
