Store Colleague - Part Time

JD Group – Store Colleague Role

Established in 1981 with a single store in the Northwest of England, the JD Group is a leading omni-channel retailer of Sports Fashion, Outdoors and Gym equipment, with colleagues working across stores globally. JD Sports Fashion Plc was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1996 and has been a FTSE100 publicly quoted company since 2019, continuing to grow in the UK and internationally.

We aspire to be the leading global omnichannel retailer in the sports and outdoor industry. By joining our team, you’ll contribute to our strategic goals—Harry revolutionising retail with a people-led, innovative, and customer-focused approach while delivering operational excellence and identifying new growth opportunities.

The Role

As a Store Colleague, you’ll be central to delivering the JD Group experience daily:

  • Drive customer engagement with welcoming interactions and seamless service.
  • Maintain a sharp, well-presented shop floor by keeping displays fresh, stock replenished, and stock levels accurate.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to uphold high standards in both service and retail aesthetics.

If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, bring enthusiasm, and want to develop your career with expert support, this role offers the perfect platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
