About the Role

As a Store Colleague, you’ll be at the heart of delivering the JD Group experience every day, ensuring customers feel welcomed, supported, and excited about our products.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing enthusiastic wellbeing to customers.
  • Ensuring shop floor smoothness through sharp displays and consistent stock replenishment.
  • Working in a team-first environment to uphold JD Group’s high service standards.

Role Overview

At JD Group, we’re the ones who set the pace. As a Store Colleague, you’ll play a pivotal role in:

  • Delivering an outstanding experience while ensuring customers feel valued and energised by our products.
  • Greeting customers confidently and assisting them with product information using in-store technology.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, effective merchandising, and excellent customer service.
  • Supporting operational tasks, including till duties, restocking, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience

    • Greet customers with energy and enthusiasm, offering friendly support and guiding them to their preferred products.
  • Sales & Service Support

    • Utilise in-store systems to verify stock, share product details, and enhance the entire customer journey.
  • Store Operations

    • Maintain a clean, organised, and replenished shop floor, ensuring a fresh and on-brand presentation.
    • Ensure adherence to national standards across presentation, replenishment, and overall store appearance.
  • Administrative Duties

    • Perform till operations, restocking tasks, and daily store maintenance.
    • Follow store-specific guidelines while prioritising safety and efficiency.

Skills & Experience Required

Ideal candidates for this role possess:

  • People-first mindset: A naturally positive and passionate approach in a fast-paced, customer-driven retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills: Can engage fluently with customers and collaborate effectively within the team.
  • Openness to learning: Willing to master new skills and take on varied responsibilities with support.
