Role Overview
As a Store Colleague at GO Outdoors, you’ll play a vital role in delivering inspiring experiences—every day. We equip adventurers, but we also inspire them.
You’ll bring energy and excellence to the shop floor by:
- Greeting customers confidently and helping them find the perfect products
- Ensuring displays are visually engaging and stock is well-replenished
- Maintaining high service and presentation standards
- Contributing to a positive, teamwork-driven environment

Key Responsibilities

Customer Care:
- Welcome customers with confidence and enthusiasm, offering personalised support
- Use in-store systems to check stock and share product knowledge effectively
- Support the full customer journey from browsing to checkout

Store Maintenance:
- Keep the shop floor clean, organised, and stocked
- Ensure displays align with GO Outdoors’ standards
- Help maintain high hygiene and presentation standards at all times

Retail Tasks:
- Perform till duties
- Restock and organise stock efficiently
- Adhere to safety and operational guidelines
Skills & Experience Required
You’ll thrive in this role if you’ve got:
- A positive, customer-focused attitude suited to fast-paced retail
- Strong communication skills, with confidence to engage customers
- Teamwork spirit and willingness to collaborate
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
Desirable Attributes

- Proactive approach, with confidence in driving sales opportunities
- Attention to detail for presenting a customer-ready store environment
