The Role

Store Colleague (Hourly Rate: £12.81) At GO Outdoors, we go beyond selling gear—we spark adventures! As a Store Colleague, your role is essential in shaping a fantastic shopping experience every day.

Your day includes:

  • Greeting customers warmly, offering assistance like a true adventure buddy.
  • Using our retail systems to help shoppers find gear they’ll love.
  • Keeping the store pristine—stock looks perfect, displays are vibrant, and it runs smoothly.
  • Supporting customers at the register, restocking, and maintaining the high standards we’re known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome every customer with enthusiasm and help them discover their next adventure.
  • Utilise in-store systems for stock checks, inventory support, and ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Maintain a spick and span shop floor— displays must always look fresh and appealing.
  • Handle till duties and adhere to safety and operational standards every day.

Required Experience & Skills

We’re looking for a team player with:

  • A can-do attitude suited to retail’s satisfying hustle-and-bustle.
  • Outstanding communication—confident with customers and teamwork.
  • Open-mindedness to evolve with the job.
  • Flexible availability: Weekends, evenings, and peak seasonal periods.
