As a Store Colleague, you will be integral to delivering the JD Group experience every day, ensuring customers are welcomed, supported, and excited about our products.

Your role includes:

  • Greeting customers with energy
  • Keeping displays up to date and visual appealing
  • Ensuring stock is always replenished
  • Maintaining a positive and energetic sales floor

A key part of the role is to uphold the high standards that define our brand, from presentation to the customer service experience.

  • Customer Engagement: Confidently greet customers, offer friendly support, and help them find their ideal products.
  • Visual Merchandising: Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and visually engaging by:
    • Maintaining fresh, on-brand displays
    • Ensuring displays are replenished
  • Operational Excellence: Support day-to-day store operations including till work, stock restocking, and adherence to safety and procedural standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with confidence and energy, offering personalised support and driven service.
  • Utilise in-store devices to:
    • Verify stock availability
    • Share product details
    • Enhance the entire customer experience
  • Keep the shop floor:
    • Clean and tidy
    • Fully stocked and replenished
    • Displays fresh and aligned with brand identity
  • Assist in daily store operations:
    • Till operations
    • Restocking activities
    • Ensuring compliance with safety and store guidelines

Skills & Experience Required

  • A positive, energetic attitude suited for a fast-paced and customer-focused retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including:
    • Confidence in engaging customers
    • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including:
    • Weekends
    • Evenings
    • Operational peak periods
