Store Colleague - Part Time

JD Group Store Colleague Role

Established in 1981 with a single store in the Northwest of England, JD Sports Fashion Plc is a leading omni-channel retailer of Sports Fashion, Outdoors and Gyms, operating across multiple retail fascias in both the UK and internationally. Listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1996 and a FTSE100 company since 2019, the group continues to grow. JD Group wants to be the leading global omnichannel retailer in the sports and outdoor industry.

To contribute to this vision, we seek a Store Colleague who aligns with our values of being a people-led, innovative, and customer-focused organisation. By embedding our strategic priorities—operational excellence, growth opportunities, and exceptional service—you’ll help us meet our daily objectives.

As a Store Colleague, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering our best-in-class retail experience every day. Your responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming customers with enthusiasm and support
  • Ensuring displays are sharp and appealing
  • Maintaining fully stocked areas
  • Keeping the store clean, tidy, and inviting

With a positive mindset, strong teamwork, and a passion for service, you’ll uphold our reputation for excellent presentation and customer care.

If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, bring energy to every shift, and are eager to develop within a supportive team, this role offers the chance to build a rewarding career.

Role Overview

We believe in setting the pace—not just following it. As a Store Colleague, you’ll help shape an outstanding customer experience by:

  • Creating engaging interactions when greeting customers
  • Ensuring clear product displays and timely stock restocking
  • Maintaining high standards in service and store appearance
  • Supporting day-to-day store operations safely and efficiently

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
