About the Role
To help us achieve this, we seek a motivated Store Colleague who shares our strategic goals of being a people-led, innovative, and customer-focused organisation. We prioritise operational excellence while identifying new growth areas—our day-to-day mission.
As a Store Colleague, you’ll be central to delivering the JD Group experience daily. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating a warm, supportive atmosphere for customers.
- Keeping the shop floor running smoothly by:
- Greeting customers with energy and confidence.
- Maintaining sharp, on-brand displays.
- Ensuring timely stock replenishment.
- Maintaining high standards in presentation and customer experience.

As a Store Colleague, you’ll:
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience, ensuring shoppers feel valued and delighted.
- Bring energy and confidence to the shop floor, assisting customers efficiently.
- Keep displays fresh and on-brand, including replenishing stock.
- Adhere to service and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement
- Greet and assist customers with a positive, energetic approach.
- Provide friendly support in finding and showcasing products.

Operational Excellence
- Use in-store devices to check stock, provide product details, and enhance customer experience.

Display and Store Maintenance
- Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Ensure displays are fresh, on-brand, and visually appealing.

Daily Store Support
- Manage till operations where necessary.
- Conduct restocking tasks.
- Adhere to safety and store guidelines.
Skills & Experience Required
- A positive, proactive attitude suited to a fast-paced, retail environment.
- Strong communication skills, including confidence in customer interactions and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new tasks.
- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and seasonal periods.
