Role Overview
Title: Store Colleague Hourly rate: £12.81

As a Store Colleague, you’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to customer interactions, ensuring shoppers feel valued and inspired by our products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer engagement – Greet customers with confidence, provide friendly assistance, and support them in finding the right products.
- Operational tasks – Use in-store technology to check stock details, manage product recommendations, and ensure seamless transactions.
- Shop floor excellence – Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-replenished store with polished product displays.
- Teamwork – Support till operations, restocking, and adherence to store guidelines, including safety protocols.

With a positive attitude, teamwork, and passion for serving customers, you’ll play an integral role in upholding JD’s high standards.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and guide them toward the best fitting products in a confident yet friendly manner.
- Create a visually appealing shop floor by keeping displays fresh, replenishing stock, and maintaining brand presentation.
- Handle cash and in-store transactions efficiently, operating cash registers and till duties.
- Support day-to-day store operations, stock replenishment, and post-shift cleaning tasks based on store policies.
Requirements & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in retail (not required for all roles) but a positive, energising attitude well-suited to fast-paced customer service.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively and collaborate as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holiday periods.
