Role Overview

As a Store Colleague, you’ll set the tone for an exceptional JD Group experience:

  • Greet customers with confidence, offering personalised support.
  • Use in-store devices for stock checks, product info, and customer assistance.
  • Ensure the shop floor is tidy, well-stocked, and visually engaging.
  • Assist with daily tasks, including till operations, restocking, and adhering to safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with energy and provide friendly, attentive service.
  • Utilise in-store tech for seamless stock checks, product options, and sales support.
  • Keep displays on-brand, items well-stocked, and the shop floor spick-and-span.
  • Fulfil store-wide duties, including cashier roles, inventory management, and safety compliance.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-centric retail setting.
  • Strong verbal/written communication; comfortable engaging customers and collaborating on team tasks.
  • Willingness to learn, take on varied responsibilities, and grow within the role.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shift demands, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods.
