Store Delivery Driver
Store Delivery Driver (Part Time - 36.45 hours per week, 3 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: B&Q New Malden (1076) Shifts: Monday – Sunday, 07:00am – 10:00pm Hourly Rate: £14.75 (incl. £0.90 store allowance)

About the Role

As a Store Delivery Driver for B&Q, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring supernatants and products reach homes in pristine condition—on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 3.5-ton vans to fulfil click-and-collect and home delivery orders, transporting materials ranging from paints to large flooring packages.
- Work efficiently on the shopfloor using new technology to fulfil orders, supporting a dynamic team and maintaining operational excellence.
- Represent the B&Q brand by prioritising customer service, answering queries, and resolving any concerns with clarity.
- Uphold safety standards, especially during heavy lifting and multi-drop deliveries.
- Adhere to schedules and adapt to occasional weekend, evening, or bank holiday shifts.

Security & Verification
For safety assurance, we conduct Experian checks with DVLA and require a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check.
What We Need
We’re looking for driven individuals with:
- A manual UK driving licence (Cat. B/B1) for 3.5T vehicles, held for at least one year with no more than 6 points.
- Strong communication skills to handle busy environments and convey updates clearly.
- Good organisation and problem-solving abilities alongside an analytical mindset.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
While previous multi-drop delivery experience is valuable, it’s not essential. We’ll provide extensive training and equipment to succeed.
