Store Delivery Driver
Store Delivery Driver – Part Time (36.45 hrs/week, 3 Month Fixed Term Contract)
About the Role
- Location: B&Q New Malden 1076
- Hours: 36.45 hours per week (Mon–Sun)
- Times: Shifts include 7:00am – 10:00pm (evenings, weekends & bank holidays)
- Pay: £14.75/hour (incl. £0.90 store allowance – UK earnings)
- Vehicle: 3.5-ton van provided
- PLEASE NOTE: Heavy lifting required daily.
Join B&Q New Malden—where your role will ensure exceptional customer service and on-time deliveries of paint, tools and home improvement goods. You’ll drive reliable multi-drop orders to customers’ homes and support stock fulfilment via digital systems in-store. Key traits? Flexibility, strength and customer passion.

- Driving 3.5-tonner vans and dropping deliveries—from a can of paint to specialist flooring onto surfaces safely.
- Making high-volume, multi-stop deliveries in prompt fashion while reducing waste and damage.
- Operating in-store order fulfilment using our advanced technology and agile stock workflows.
- Promoting brand values—always putting customers first, being aligned with B&Q’s honest, ‘help you change your home’ mission.
What We Need
A self-organised problem-solver who enjoys physical work and irregular hours. To thrive in this role:
- Driving qual: Hold a UK manual Category B/B1 license (3.5-ton capability) for 1+ year, with ≤6 penalty points.
- No experience? No stress—it’s useful but not essential to have prior multi-drop delivery experience.
- Flexability: Committed to vary spells, including weekends & evenings.
- Bright ideals: You empower customers, stay fraud-deterrent (we check licences via Experian/DVLA) and pass a DBS check.
