Key Responsibilities
This is a 12-month contract position.
The Store Development Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of new store openings and retail build-outs across the UK and international markets.
Based in London, this role will work closely with Real Estate, Design, Construction, Retail Operations, and Global HQ teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with SKIMS’ global brand standards.
This role requires a highly organized and technically capable individual with experience in retail construction, store design documentation, and contractor coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating design concepts into build-ready documentation while supporting the Director of Store Development in delivering multiple international projects simultaneously.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Project Coordination & Execution
- Support the end-to-end delivery of store development projects from lease execution through to store opening.
- Track project timelines, milestones, budgets, and key deliverables across multiple international projects.
- Maintain and update project trackers, reporting dashboards, and development schedules.
- Coordinate external vendors including general contractors, millwork fabricators, architects, and consultants.
Technical Design & Documentation
- Assist in preparing and reviewing technical drawing packages and store development documentation.
- Support the translation of design concepts into build-ready construction drawings.
- Review shop drawings, fixture details, and material specifications to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Maintain and update store development manuals, fixture libraries, and design standards.
Construction & Vendor Management
- Work closely with general contractors and fabrication partners throughout the construction process.
- Support the review of fabrication samples, millwork details, and production timelines.
- Assist with resolving technical construction issues and site coordination challenges.
- Monitor project progress and ensure vendors are delivering to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Design and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure brand standards and aesthetic consistency are upheld.
- Coordinate with Construction and Facilities teams to ensure site readiness and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Retail Operations to support store handover and opening readiness.
- Liaise with Global HQ teams to ensure alignment on store formats, fixtures, and merchandising standards.
Budget & Documentation Support
- Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain organized documentation including contracts, drawings, permits, and approvals.
- Support compliance tracking related to local building regulations and landlord requirements.
Store Opening Support
- Coordinate store opening timelines and readiness checklists.
- Support on-site setup and installation periods during critical store openings when required.
- Ensure fixtures, VM elements, and operational components are delivered on schedule.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide weekly project updates to senior leadership.
- Identify and escalate project risks, cost changes, or timeline delays.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners across multiple regions.
