Our store managers own their store, managing them as an individual business centre. As such you will take great pride in your store, your team, and your customers. Our Unique Selling Point (USP) in this ever-changing retail world is the relationship we build with our customers, many of them loyal to our brand and to their local store team. You will be the driving force of the store ensuring sales targets are met, customer service is outstanding, and your team is trained and motivated to continuously amaze our customers. Pride in your store will mean you never stop pursuing perfection. A peek into your daily adventures: Making sure your team is equipped to uphold our B Corp principles and USP. Own the overall performance of your store within an Omni-Channel setting. This includes managing all Ship from Store orders and Click and Collect orders to satisfy our customer needs. Take ownership of celebrating the successes of the store performance with your team and manage any shortfall in reaching forecast by breaking down the requirement into easy to achieve targets. Stock accuracy is of great importance to fulfil instore and Omni orders therefore you will be skilled at stock control and stock integrity principles. No job will be too small for you and you’ll create a fun, lively and safe environment for our customers and your team. You will lead by example by including yourself in all operational tasks. You will find training and team development enjoyable and will use all training resources to the fullest potential. This includes embracing virtual and digital training for yourself and your team members. Outward ambassador of our B Corp principles, driving the culture through all business practices and team management. Organise rotas and holiday allocation in a fair way. Delegate responsibilities fairly which will stimulate and offer development throughout the team. A typical week would be 4 x 7.5 & 1 x 6 hour shifts however, flexibility is required in line with store requirements. Skills that make you shine: Previous experience as a Store Manager within a retail environment. Previous customer service and sales experience Competent IT skills and excellent systems ability, with an aptitude to pick up new systems quickly. We don’t like hard sales techniques, but you’ll need to demonstrate a level of sales ability, which includes active listening skills, empathy, and an understanding of our customers’ needs. The ability to train and develop your team is an essential quality for this position. You’ll be analysing the store’s performance, so a strong analytical ability is a must have. You’ll be a great communicator with the ability to manage the concerns of the team. We like to keep our stores looking tip top, so you’ll have a keen eye for detail.
