Store Manager

Store Manager – Join Us at Starbucks

We’re looking for leadership at Starbucks where coffee flows seamlessly into community, collaboration, and career growth.

Find your place as a Store Manager—help shape the future of the brand by delivering exceptional service and leading with ownership. Your voice drives everything we do at Starbucks, as you’re empowered to run your store like a self-sustaining business.

About the Role

The Challenge & Rewards

At Starbucks, no day is the same—that’s what makes this role so dynamic. As a frontline leader in our stores, you’ll model the experience, inspire your team, and own your store’s success. Whether you’re managing openings, closing shifts, or forecasting, you’ll make operational decisions with data, customer insights, and care for your partners.

Your work furthers the brand’s values and results: profitability, team development, and mission-driven impact. You’re paid to think big—from lifting team performance to exploring market opportunities. Here, your focus on growth for each person means the store thrives together.

At Starbucks, your merit matters. Here, professional coaching starts on day one, salary aspirations are competitive, and ownership—even literal share Bean stock—is within reach.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll be hands-on, strategic leader as part of a cohesive team:

  • Operational Excellence

    • Execute daily store operations—guaranteeing openings, closings, and weekends are covered by you and your team.
    • Analyze performance data and real-time retail dynamics, turning insights into value—better customer interactions and stronger profitability.
    • Track the market and competition, spotting innovation and sales opportunities.
  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Work in close collaboration with other store leaders to optimize staffing using labor-management tools and discipline around hiring radar—securing a high-performing, diverse team tailored to your frontline needs.
    • Cascade store-wide initiatives with precision to drive operational excellence and support business targets.
    • Lead through growth: set stretch goals to engage partners, foster mentorship, and strengthen partnerships. Bolster morale by proactively tackling challenges, understanding aspirations, and offering coaching where needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
