Store Manager
Store Manager – Evans Cycles
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and take our store to new heights. As a Store Manager at Evans Cycles, you will deliver exceptional customer service, manage a passionate team, and drive sales growth. If you have a love for cycling and want to make a difference in the cycling community, this is the role for you!
About the Role
The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience while leading the team to exceed performance targets. You’ll be inspired by cycling’s impact on health, sustainability, and community—now it’s your turn to help shape the future of cycling in our store.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages growth and collaboration
- Provide ongoing training and product knowledge development

Customer Experience
- Ensure every customer receives expert assistance, advice, and a memorable shopping experience
- Build strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and loyalty

Inventory & Operations
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, regular stocktakes, and accurate record-keeping
- Manage visual merchandising to create an attractive, well-organized display that highlights products effectively

Sales & Performance
- Monitor sales performance and implement growth strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Identify trends and opportunities to drive additional revenue

Store Environment & Compliance
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for both customers and staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and customer service policies
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in a retail management role, preferably within cycling, outdoor sports, or retail environments
- A passionate love for cycling and enthusiasm for promoting active lifestyles
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire excellence
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and staff
- Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Familiarity with inventory management system and store merchandising principles
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
