About the Role
As a Store Manager with a focus on Customer Experience and Operations, your role is central to delivering the BIRKENSTOCK brand promises. You will set the tone for an exceptional retail experience, foster a positive team culture, and drive operational excellence. This is a dynamic, ownership-oriented position where you will make a tangible difference in growth, customer satisfaction, and team development.
Your Responsibilities
- Customer-Centric Leadership: Serve as the face of the BIRKENSTOCK brand, embodying its values through impactful interactions and ensuring customers experience the quality and craftsmanship firsthand.
- Team Motivation & Culture: Build a welcoming and collaborative work environment, where achievements—big and small—are celebrated consistently. Act as a role model and mentor to your team.
- ** recruitment and Development** : Recruit, train, and coach team members, empowering continuous growth and improvement within the store.
- Commercial Performance: Monitor and ensure the store’s commercial success, keeping the team aligned with targets and optimising sales performance based on relevant KPIs.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with Area Management, HR, and Retail Operations to plan store development initiatives that enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Service & Problem-Solving: Be your team’s dependable point of contact, offering empathy and expertise to navigate challenges with proactive solutions.

Requirements & Competencies
- Self-Reliance: Years of experience in store management with a demonstrated history in leadership. Your track record should highlight your ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.
- Sales & Customer Passion: An inherent enthusiasm for sales and providing outstanding customer service, paired with an approachable demeanour and the ability to motivate others.
- Trend Awareness & Digital Savvy: A keen sense of fashion and emerging footwear/retail trends, alongside an affinity for social media and digital engagement.
- Results & Detail-Oriented: A structured, analytical mindset to interpret and optimise retail KPIs, paired with precision and attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Fluency in MS Office and experience with cash register systems.
- Language Skills: Strong proficiency in English required; proficiency in additional languages is a welcome asset.
- Brand Alignment: A genuine passion for BIRKENSTOCK’s mission and a shared commitment to achieving long-term brand success.
