Store Manager - Convenience Girvan, Ayrshire

Join Morrisons Daily as a Convenience Store Manager and run your store like it's your own business!
We are looking for a dedicated ‘shopkeeper’ to lead one of our busy stores. Your mission will be to serve your customers, support your colleagues, and champion your local community, ensuring the store is the best place to work and shop.
As the heart of your store, you will be responsible for driving success across four key areas:
Customer & Commercial Performance
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Treat the store as your own business, constantly seeking innovative ways to improve the commercial offering, drive sales, and manage costs effectively. Best-in-Class Experience: Lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service, challenging the norm and thinking of new ways to make the customer experience the best in the market, in line with the Morrisons brand promise.
Team Leadership & Development
Cultivating Talent: Oversee all people activities; from recruitment and induction to training and ongoing development. Inclusive Culture: Build and champion an inclusive culture where every colleague is motivated, empowered, and equipped to deliver outstanding service and achieve their full potential.
Operational Excellence
Standards & Compliance: Ensure all operational procedures, health and safety, and compliance standards are rigorously met, maintaining an attractive, safe, and efficient shopping environment. Flexibility: As hours are driven by business and customer needs, this role requires flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, and weekend work.

About You
We are looking for leaders who can inspire, adapt, and deliver results. While prior experience in a fast-paced, service-focused environment (such as retail, convenience, or hospitality) is beneficial, we prioritise the following leadership qualities:

Inspiration & Influence: The ability to motivate and inspire your team, while also listening and influencing stakeholders to think broadly about new ways of doing things.
