Convenience Store Manager

Are you an entrepreneurial, customer-focused leader with a passion for retail and community?

We are looking for a dedicated "shopkeeper" to lead one of our busy stores. Your mission will be to serve your customers, support your colleagues, and champion your local community, ensuring the store is the best place to work and shop.


Key Responsibilities

Your role will focus on driving success across four essential areas:

Customer & Commercial Performance

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit:
    • Treat your store as your own business, seeking innovative ways to improve commercial offerings, drive sales, and optimise costs.
  • Best-in-Class Experience:
    • Lead your team in delivering exceptional customer service, setting new standards and ensuring alignment with the Morrisons brand promise.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Cultivating Talent:
    • Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing employee development.
  • Inclusive Culture:
    • Build a motivating, empowering, collaborative environment where every colleague thrives.

Operational Excellence

  • Standards & Compliance:
    • Ensure all operational standards, health & safety, and compliance are met rigorously, maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient shopping environment.
  • Flexibility:
    • Ready for early mornings, late nights, and weekend work, adjusting to business and customer demand.

Requirements & Qualities

We are looking for a passionate leader who can inspire, adapt, and deliver results. While retail, convenience, or hospitality experience is beneficial, we prioritise:
