Convenience Store Manager – Join Morrisons Daily

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated ‘shopkeeper’ to lead one of our busy stores. Your mission will be to:

  • Serve your customers
  • Support your colleagues
  • Champion your local community
  • Ensure the store is the best place to work and shop

Key Responsibilities

As the heart of your store, you will be responsible for driving success across four key areas:

1. Customer & Commercial Performance

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Treat the store as your own business—constantly seeking innovative ways to:
    • Improve the commercial offering
    • Drive sales
    • Manage costs effectively
  • Best-in-Class Experience:
    • Lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service
    • Challenge industry norms and think of new ways to ensure a best-in-market experience
    • Align with the Morrisons brand promise

2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Cultivating Talent: Oversee:
    • Recruitment and induction
    • Training and ongoing development
  • Inclusive Culture:
    • Build and champion an inclusive culture where every colleague:
      • Is motivated
      • Empowered
      • Equipped to deliver outstanding service
      • Achieves their full potential

3. Operational Excellence

  • Standards & Compliance:
    • Ensure all operational procedures, health & safety, and compliance standards are rigorously followed
    • Maintain an attractive, safe, and efficient shopping environment
  • Flexibility:
    • Hours are business/customer-driven, requiring availability for:
      • Early mornings
      • Late nights
      • Weekend work

About You
