Convenience Store Manager – Morrisons Daily

The Mission

You’ll be the generation-shopper who delivers exceptional service every day, driving commercial success while ensuring your store is the best place to work and shop.

As the heart of your store, your focus will be on four key areas:


Responsibilities

1. Customer & Commercial Performance

  • Treat the store as your own business: Seek innovative solutions to improve commercial performance—driving sales, managing costs, and refining the product offering.
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience: Lead your team to challenge the status quo, introducing creative ways to create an exceptional shops experience that aligns with the Morrisons brand promise.

2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Cultivate talent: Oversee every stage of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and induction to training and development—ensuring colleagues are supported to achieve their potential.
  • Build an inclusive culture: Foster a motivating, empowering environment where every team member feels valued, inspired, and equipped to excel in delivering outstanding service.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Maintain rigorous compliance: Ensure health and safety standards, operational efficiency, and legal requirements are met, keeping the store clean, safe, and customer-focused.
  • Exhibit flexibility: Adapt to variable hours due to customer demand, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend work.

About You
