Store Manager Designate - Vision Express (Reading Area)

At Vision Express, part of the global EssilorLuxottica group, you'll work with world-leading brands including Ray-Ban, Meta, Oakley, Prada and Nuance while developing the skills and experience needed to become a successful Store Manager.

As a Store Manager Designate, you'll support stores across the Reading area, gaining exposure to different teams, challenges and opportunities while building towards your first Store Manager position.

What You'll Do

  • Support the day-to-day leadership of stores across the Reading area
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable customer experiences
  • Lead from the front, coaching and developing colleagues to achieve their best
  • Support commercial performance through strong people leadership and operational excellence
  • Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Take ownership of key priorities and confidently step into leadership responsibilities
  • Develop the skills, knowledge and experience required to progress into a Store Manager role
  • Adapt quickly to different stores and support teams through change and growth

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Assistant Store Manager or equivalent leadership role
  • Background in retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment
  • Ambition to develop into a Store Manager and build a long-term leadership career
  • Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping people
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working across multiple locations
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to build relationships quickly
  • Positive, proactive and eager to learn
  • Optics experience is not required - we'll support you to learn everything you need
