The Role: Store Manager F/M – Harrods London
Stone Island is continuing its exciting retail journey with a key presence in Harrods, London. We are currently seeking a Store Manager to lead our boutique at Harrods, embodying the brand’s identity and driving both business performance and client experience to excellence. Our Store Manager is dedicated to delivering outstanding business results and surpassing key qualitative goals, consistently going above and beyond while inspiring, leading, and mentoring the team. Acting as a true brand ambassador, the Store Manager ensures that the Stone Island Client Promise is brought to life in every client interaction.
The Day-To-Day
- Foster authentic, attentive, and enduring relationships with clients by collecting meaningful insights and proactively engaging in one-to-one clienteling activities, with a particular focus on VIC clients.
- Drive business performance by achieving individual and team sales targets, maximizing opportunities through cross-selling, and implementing strategies to increase store traffic and profitability.
- Ensure the highest level of client experience by supervising the sales process and guaranteeing that the Stone Island Client Promise is consistently understood, embodied, and executed.
- Maintain strong awareness of the local market, competitors, and relevant events, sharing insights with Corporate to support business development.
- Handle sensitive customer situations and complaints with professionalism, ensuring alignment with company standards and safeguarding brand reputation.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a high-performing team aligned with Stone Island values and attitudes.
- Lead, motivate, and coach the team through continuous feedback, training, and development, ensuring they remain engaged, informed, and aligned with corporate policies.
- Plan and manage staff scheduling in line with business needs, ensuring optimal store coverage and efficiency.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge, effectively communicating the uniqueness of collections, fabrics, and product features to both clients and team members.
- Uphold impeccable visual merchandising standards and ensure the store environment reflects brand excellence, including product presentation, cleanliness, and team grooming.
- Oversee store operations, ensuring the security of products and materials, while managing administrative and accounting responsibilities with accuracy and diligence.

Key Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in fashion retail or hospitality, including managerial roles within mono- or multi-brand environments, ideally in luxury or contemporary retail.
- Strong understanding of current fashion trends and the competitive landscape.
- Proven ability to drive business performance, achieving both personal and team sales objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, recruitment, and development, with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Excellent client service and relationship management capabilities, with a strong sense of clienteling and community building.
- High level of visual merchandising knowledge and sensitivity to brand image and presentation.
- Strong brand ambassadorship, consistently embodying Stone Island’s identity, values, and culture.
- Highly reliable, adaptable, and autonomous, with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong connection to the local community and well-developed PR skills.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are considered a plus.
- Digitally proficient, with solid knowledge of MS Office, clienteling tools, and payment systems, and openness to new technologies.
