Company Description
Freedom of Movement is a South African-born lifestyle brand founded in 2013 by brothers with a passion for design and entrepreneurship. The brand started with handcrafted leather goods and has grown into a broad range of premium lifestyle products available online and in stores across South Africa. Built on principles of quality, longevity, value, and worth, Freedom of Movement focuses on authentic, aspirational products and experiences. We're now opening our first UK store in August, and this is an exciting opportunity to lead our first store outside of South Africa!
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for leading the daily operations of the Bath store from day one. This includes overseeing sales performance, managing stock levels, ensuring merchandising standards, and maintaining a welcoming, brand-aligned store environment. The Store Manager will coach and motivate the team, schedule staff, and support training to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences. The role also involves handling customer queries and feedback, monitoring store security and loss prevention, and reporting on sales, targets, and operational issues to leadership. It's a fantastic opportunity to lead a store from the ground up and really make it your own!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
