Store Manager – H&T – Hull

At H&T, you’ll join a passionate team working together at the UK’s leading pawnbroker and one of the top 10 jewellery and watch retailers.
About the Role
You’ll help lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- You will achieve financial targets, develop your team, and create a positive, inclusive store environment where colleagues feel motivated, well-trained, and proud of their role.
- No prior experience with pawnbroking is required—we provide a comprehensive training programme to ensure full support.

Key Responsibilities
- Coach, develop, and inspire your team to meet quarterly goals and deliver their best daily.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and flexibility, ensuring multi-skilled, customer-focused colleagues.
- Lead by example to deliver service excellence, tailoring products/services for each customer’s needs.
- Set clear expectations and ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards for safety and security.
- Drive performance and profitability, identify growth opportunities, and control costs.
- Collaborate with the wider regional team to share best practices and support business success.
- Plan and implement initiatives with seamless integration for customers and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
Key Qualities & Skills:
- A passion for high standards and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Previous experience as a Store Manager (in Financial Services or customer-facing roles preferred).
- Multilingual skills are a bonus—diverse customer base welcome.
