Store Manager – Evans Cycles


About Evans Cycles

Evans Cycles is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to drive excellence in our retail operation. In this role, you’ll lead a team of cycling enthusiasts, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and boost sales while fostering a passion for cycling within the community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership

    • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling experts to ensure unparalleled customer service and achieve sales targets.
    • Foster a welcoming and performance-driven work environment.
  • Customer Experience

    • Deliver expert guidance and support to ensure every customer has a positive and memorable shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management

    • Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Visual Merchandising

    • Keep the store layout attractive, well-organised, and aligned with product displays for maximum appeal.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous management role in retail, ideally in cycling, outdoor sports, or similar industries.
  • Passion for Cycling: A true cycling advocate who can connect with enthusiasts.
  • Leadership & Team Skills: Able to develop, coach, and guide a team effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication for customer and staff interactions.
  • Sales-Minded: Proven ability to hit and exceed targets in a sales-driven role.
  • Problem-Solving: Sharp decision-making with resilience under pressure.
  • Inventory & Merchandising: Experience in stock management and visual merchandising.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
