We are looking for a Retail Shop Manager to drive forward the quality service we continue to provide here in Cambridge.

To fulfil this exciting role, you will possess exceptional Retail Management skills, ideally gained within a retail environment, preferably in the outdoor industry.
You will also bring:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Precision and an eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication
- The ability to challenge and motivate team members to improve performance
- Skills to train, delegate, and manage staff effectively
- Outstanding time management abilities

Key Responsibilities
The Retail Shop Manager will leverage their experience to:
- Engage the shop team in driving store performance and maintaining the store’s reputation for outstanding quality and customer service.
- Reach and exceed sales targets by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise.
- Organise and implement store rotas, ensuring effective shift coverage for holidays and emergencies.
- Train, guide, and motivate sales staff in selling procedures to help achieve sales goals.
- Achieve commercial success through managing store standards and efficient restocking.
- Foster a deep product knowledge across the store team and share enthusiasm for outdoor retailing.
