Store Manager – Retail Leadership Opportunity (UK Wide)

About the Role
Position: Reporting to the Regional Manager
As a Store Manager at Morrisons, you’ll drive success by:
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance store performance and profitability—constantly challenging traditional processes for continuous improvement.
- Fostering innovation with an open-door culture to generate and implement fresh ideas across the store.
- Listening and responding to customers, colleagues, and market feedback to ensure all decisions remain customer-focused.
- Cultivating a high-performance culture through:
- Talent development & succession planning
- Coaching and feedback to align team behaviour with best practices
- Supportive, accountable leadership
- Collaborating with Head Office teams to optimise stock availability, ensuring Morrisons remains a one-stop shopping destination.
- Building community relationships and local awareness to position your store as an essential part of the area, driven by proactive marketing.

About You
Essential Requirements
✅ Experience managing a store in a fast-paced food retail environment is crucial. ✅ Strong leadership skills, including:
- The ability to listen and respond to stakeholders
- Talent spotting to grow and retain high-performing teams
- Conflict resolution and trust-building with store colleagues ✅ Strong coaching culture (constructive feedback, setting clear expectations). ✅ Goal alignment—ability to translate Morrisons priorities into department-specific targets that engage the team holistically.
