We are looking for an experienced and confident Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations. As the driving force behind the store's success, you will be responsible for overall performance, team culture, and the day-to-day operation of the store while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

A natural leader, you will lead by example on the shop floor, inspiring your team to provide outstanding customer service while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and customer-focused environment. You will take full ownership of store performance, ensuring sales targets, operational standards, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.

Thriving in a fast-paced retail environment, you will combine strong commercial awareness with a hands-on leadership approach. You will motivate and develop your team, drive business performance, and ensure every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the store team, including Supervisors, Keyholders, and Sales Associates, to deliver exceptional customer service and strong commercial results.
  • Partner closely with senior retail leadership to support business strategy, operational excellence, and long-term store performance.
  • Manage key people processes, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, employee development, and performance management, working collaboratively with HR.
  • Oversee staffing levels and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals.
  • Monitor and drive trading performance by analysing sales, KPIs, and business results, taking proactive action to maximise opportunities and improve performance.
  • Manage stock levels and product performance, identifying commercial opportunities and potential risks while communicating key insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained in line with company guidelines to maximise commercial performance and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and wider business teams to support in-store events, local marketing initiatives, and customer engagement activities.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, compliance, and operational excellence to ensure a safe and efficient store environment.
  • Promote responsible business practices by supporting initiatives that reduce waste, encourage sustainable ways of working, and contribute to positive environmental and social outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
