Store Manager - New Store Opening
Store Manager – Evans Cycles (Wandsworth)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our new store in Wandsworth. As a Store Manager at Evans Cycles, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of dedicated cycling enthusiasts, and driving sales growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about bikes and wants to make a significant impact in the cycling community.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience through expert advice and assistance.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Preserve an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases products effectively.
- Sales & Performance:
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Training & Development:
- Continuously develop team members’ product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Health & Safety:
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all customers and staff while adhering to guidelines.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail management (preferably in cycling or outdoor sports).
- A passion for cycling.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sales-driven mindset with experience achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Inventory management and visual merchandising experience.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
