Store Manager - New Store Opening

Store Manager – Evans Cycles (Wandsworth)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our new store in Wandsworth. As a Store Manager at Evans Cycles, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of dedicated cycling enthusiasts, and driving sales growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about bikes and wants to make a significant impact in the cycling community.


Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Ensure every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience through expert advice and assistance.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Preserve an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases products effectively.
  • Sales & Performance:
    • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Training & Development:
    • Continuously develop team members’ product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Health & Safety:
    • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all customers and staff while adhering to guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail management (preferably in cycling or outdoor sports).
  • A passion for cycling.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sales-driven mindset with experience achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Inventory management and visual merchandising experience.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
