Store Manager – Evans Cycles (Wandsworth)
About Evans Cycles
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our new store in Wandsworth. As a Store Manager at Evans Cycles, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of dedicated cycling enthusiasts, and driving sales growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about bikes and wants to make a significant impact in the cycling community.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure every customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience by providing expert advice and assistance.
- Inventory Management
- Oversee stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Visual Merchandising
- Maintain an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases products effectively.
- Sales & Performance
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Training & Development
- Continuously train and develop your team’s product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Health & Safety
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff by following health and safety guidelines.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in the cycling or outdoor sports industry.
- A passion for cycling.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with a track record of achieving (or exceeding) targets.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
