Are you an experienced retail leader who cares about people, takes pride in great customer service, and knows how to bring out the best in a team?

We have two stores and one opportunity for you to step into a Twinsite Store Manager role with Boots Opticians, leading our Croydon Whitgift and London Road locations. You’ll bring clarity, energy and expertise to both sites, delivering exceptional customer care every day.

These are busy community stores with a loyal customer base and long-standing teams who genuinely care about what they do. There’s a great foundation in place — your role will be to bring both sites together (with 5–6 team members in each), create consistency, and shape an experience that keeps customers coming back.

Boots Opticians is always evolving, with new brands and services such as our Optomap eye scan being introduced all the time. You’ll play a key role in bringing these to life in your stores — making sure they feel relevant and meaningful for your customers.

As a Twinsite Store Manager, you’ll lead from the front — setting the tone for great service and creating team cultures that feel supportive, positive and confident. You’ll build environments where your teams feels trusted to do their best work, and where customers know they can rely on Boots.

This role is ideal for Store Managers who are already doing the job — driving performance, setting clear expectations and keeping standards high — and are now ready to do it at Boots, across two locations.

If you’re looking for a role where you can lead multiple teams, drive commercial success, grow people and make a real difference to your local community every day, this could be a great next step for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Twinsite Store Manager, you’ll report into the Regional Manager and bring energy, direction and purpose to your stores. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll spend time on the shop floor, supporting your team and role modelling how great care and strong sales performance go hand in hand.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
