Store and Operations Manager

Job Type: Full Time (40h/wk), Permanent Role Location: G-SHOCK London, Carnaby Street, W1F 9QF (Fully on-site)

  • Reports to: Divisional Manager - Timepiece
  • Direct Reports: 1x Assistant Store Manager
  • Direct Reports: 4x G-SHOCK London Staff

About the Role

How you will fit in the company...

As the Store & Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the success of the G-SHOCK London flagship store. This position combines:

  • Store leadership
  • Key operational responsibilities

Core Objectives:

  • Drive sales
  • Meet profitability targets
  • Ensure exceptional consumer experience

You'll be at the forefront of our brand’s culture, ensuring the store remains a key destination for our London community and consumers.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Strong leadership: Responsible for managing retail operations
  • Product management: Collaborate with Marketing and Planning teams to:
    • Oversee product inventory
    • Manage pricing
    • Execute promotional efforts
  • Alignment with trends: Ensure store offerings reflect current market trends
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with retail and marketing teams on initiatives
  • Store visibility: Act as a bridge between store and head office teams
  • Leadership development: Inspire teams to exceed KPIs
  • Proactive presence: Drive high-performance culture with passion

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL:

  • Flexibility:

    • Ready to work retail hours (evenings and weekends)
    • Ability to oversee monthly team rota
  • Experience:

    • 4+ years in retail management
    • Experience preferable in fashion or lifestyle industry
    • Solid understanding of:
      • Store operations
      • Team leadership
  • People Management:

    • Exceptional skills to:
      • Motivate
      • Inspire
      • Develop high-performing teams
  • Communication:

    • Strong internal and external communication skills
    • Beneficial: Solid network within timepiece, fashion, or creative culture
