Teamforce Labour is currently seeking an experienced Store Person / Telehandler Operator for an immediate start on a major infrastructure project in Fleetwood, Lancashire (FY7).

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with plenty of overtime and weekend work available.

You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of site materials, plant, and stores while supporting site operations through the safe operation of a telehandler.

As a Store Person, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site stores and yard, ensuring materials, tools, and plant are accurately controlled, maintained, and readily available to support the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Telehandler to load, unload, and transport materials around site
  • Receive, inspect, and sign in deliveries of materials, tools, and plant
  • Issue and record materials, equipment, and plant to site personnel
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records
  • Order and replenish stock as required to meet project demands
  • Keep the stores area and site yard clean, organised, and well maintained
  • Carry out regular stock checks and report shortages
  • Liaise with site management and suppliers regarding deliveries and stock requirements
  • Ensure all lifting and material handling activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures
  • Comply with all site health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Valid Blue CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Affiliated) Telehandler qualification
  • Valid Safety Critical Medical
  • Previous experience working as a Store Person or Storeman on a construction or civil engineering project
  • Experience operating a Telehandler in a busy site environment
  • Good understanding of stock control, stores management, and material handling
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site teams and suppliers
  • Full PPE
  • Two recent work references
  • Up-to-date CV
