PART TIME Sales Assistant - Castleford Store
We are looking for a PART TIME Sales Assistant to join the team & work in our Castleford Store!
About the Role
As a Retail Store Assistant at Lucy & Yak, you are committed to creating an exceptional in-store experience for our customers. Your role involves becoming a Lucy & Yak expert, offering top-notch customer service, maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing store, and actively engaging with our Lucy & Yak community.
What You'll Be Doing...
- Become an expert on all things Lucy & Yak, including our products, sizing, and our commitment to sustainability and ethics.
- Be the friendly face of Lucy & Yak, greeting and welcoming customers with your warmth & positivity.
- Provide exceptional assistance, promptly addressing customer queries & ensuring their needs are met.
- Customer happiness is your top priority - you’ll go the extra mile to make every shopping experience memorable.
- General shop floor responsibilities such as restocking, keeping the shop clean, tidy and inviting.
- Working in the back areas when required to help put away deliveries & to keep the stockroom & staff area clear, tidy & organised.
- Support in creating fun and engaging content as a team for the Lucy & Yak Store Instagram, as well as responding to customers queries & interactions.
- Support with working in-store events, including evening work when required, to make them enjoyable and memorable for our customers.
- Support in always making the store a safe place for customers and our team through following our H&S best practice.

The Fine Print
- £13.45 per hour
- 6 hours per week - to be worked on a Sunday (This role will be contracted to work Sundays and will be exempt from opting out of Sunday working according to the Employment Rights Act).
- Based in Castleford
- Start date ASAP
- Although this role does not have a closing date we reserve the right to close the advertisement if we receive a large number of applications.
