Store Supervisor

We’re looking for an ambitious Store Supervisor to join our David Clulow concession within John Lewis. This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, making it an excellent chance for someone ready to take the next step in their retail career. Working closely with a small, supportive team, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of retail leadership in a store known for developing future talent.
What you'll do
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
- Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering exceptional customer service
- Drive sales performance through outstanding customer conversations
- Coach and motivate colleagues to achieve their individual and team goals
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and operations
- Build strong relationships with John Lewis customers and colleagues
- Take ownership of the store and step up when needed in the manager's absence
- Develop your leadership skills as a Store Supervisor in a fast-paced retail environment

What we're looking for
- Previous retail sales experience with a proven track record of delivering results
- Ambition to progress into future leadership and management roles
- A confident, hands-on individual who enjoys supporting and developing others
- Strong communication skills with a people-first approach
- Customer-focused, proactive and solutions-driven
- An interest in fashion, luxury retail and delivering standout service
- Optical retail experience and/or previous Store Supervisor experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
