About the Role
Location: Barking Salary: £30,850 per annum + benefits Hours: 40 hours per week (shifts between 7am–5pm Mon-Fri), with occasional Saturday work

As a Store Supervisor at Dulux Decorating Centres, you’ll act as a key member of the store management team. You’ll support the Store Manager in boosting sales and market share by building strong customer relationships, leading the sales team, and covering for the manager when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in delivering a culture of engagement and the national engagement plan through action planning.
- Assist in nurturing a high-performing sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Own and uphold store standards in line with DDC’s Operational Excellence Guide.
- Collaborate with colleagues in overseeing the P&L statement, focusing on sales growth, margin optimisation, cost efficiency, and reducing stock/cash losses.
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Monitor performance and customer/store trends to inform improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising a retail store and evaluating people/business performance.
- Driving license is essential.
- Demonstrates the ability to nurture and inspire colleagues.
- Comfortable using business management systems.
- Highly commercially astute.
