Role Description
The Storekeeper role at Securcom is a full-time, on-site position based in Kingsland Herefordshire. The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, unloading, and checking deliveries, ensuring all materials and equipment are accurately recorded and stored. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and maintaining stock areas, managing inventory levels, preparing items for dispatch, and packing materials for internal use or external delivery. The role involves operating material-handling equipment when required, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the store, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely supply of items. The Storekeeper also updates inventory systems, reports discrepancies, and supports continuous improvement in stock control processes.

- Candidates should possess strong Inventory Management and Inventory Control skills, including accurate record-keeping and stock reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess practical Packing and Unloading skills to handle goods safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy for using inventory or warehouse management systems, and effective communication skills for working with site and office teams.
- Previous experience in a storekeeping, warehousing, or construction materials environment is beneficial; relevant vocational training or certifications in logistics or warehousing are an advantage.
