Job Description

Executing the day to day activities associated with operating in a demanding Warehouse department within the Oil and Gas sector. Assist in the day to day operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products with limited on-the-job mentoring and guidance/supervision within a highly regulated quality environment, adhering to all Safety and Warehousing procedures. It is incumbent upon the Warehouse Operator to demonstrate Oceaneering's Core Values; Safety & the Environment, Teamwork & People, Customer Focus, Excellence, Accountability, Ethics and Adhering to Oceaneering's Life Saving Rules at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Rotational duties required within the Warehouse (receiving, picking, packing, shipping).
  • Operating Forklift within the Warehouse and outside in yard.
  • Check and receipt goods inwards from suppliers, offshore, intercompany transfers.
  • Locate stock into designated areas.
  • Pick and pack items for shipping.
  • Prepare invoices for shipments to worksites.
  • Book out equipment/spares to workshop personnel and to job sites.
  • Assist with cycle count and stock taking when required.
  • Assist Warehouse Management with inventory reconciliation and inventory issues.
  • Where appropriate raise non-conformance reports to follow up discrepancies found within processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement for the purpose of refining relevant processes and procedures.
  • Driving duties as/if required for local collections and deliveries.
  • Rotational on-call duties.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuously improving your working area through 6S activity.
  • Participate in weekly 6S audits when required.

Qualifications

The Below Qualifications Are Beneficial But Not Essential.

  • Forklift Qualification (B1/P1/B2/B3)
  • Dangerous Goods by Sea
  • Dangerous Goods by Air

Training will be provided to enhance skillset and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
  • Basic computing skills, knowledgeable in MS Office and a proficiency in Warehouse management system software (Peoplesoft ERP) to track inventory, mange orders, generate reports.
  • Relative Experience within a supply and demand realm including forecasts, receipt and delivery process, inventory reports and accuracy validation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
