About the Role
At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. As a Stores and Inventory Assistant at RAF High Wycombe, your role is vital in supporting core HADES operations. You’ll help ensure that equipment, materials, and documentation are accurately managed—keeping an essential RAF station running smoothly and ready for operational demands.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assisting the accounts department with supply-related activities
- Supporting the physical issuing and receiving of items within the Clothing Stores
- Preparing documentation for stock receipts and issues
- Aiding stocktaking and snap-check programmes across stockholding groups
- Ensuring the physical security of stock, assets, and areas under your control
Hours: 37.5 per week Location: RAF High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Hours of Work:
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00–17:00
- Friday: 08:00–16:00
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting daily supply activities and MOD logistics processes
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Assisting with inventory management and security compliance

Essential Qualifications & Experience
Computer literacy and the ability to work independently are essential.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in customer service or accounts (military or civilian)
- Familiarity with MOD logistics procedures and documentation

Security Clearance Requirements
The role requires obtaining and maintaining:
- Standard (BPSS)/Security Check (SC) clearance before starting.
