Function: Supply Chain - Stores Operations

Location: Tadcaster

Salary: circa £27,000 per annum dependant on experience, plus benefits listed below!

Contract: Permanent

Shift pattern: Days based, Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm

About The Role

As the Stores Co-ordinator, you’ll play a central role in supporting overall brewery operations for the site. Reporting to the Stores Operations Team lead, you’ll manage our spare parts inventory as well as supporting our procurement processes for a seamless, efficient and safe running of our production lines. Within your remit of responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing inventory & materials related to spare parts by conducting cycle counts, receiving goods & picking stock within 5S standards.
  • Working with procurement stakeholders, both internally and externally, to obtain quotes, creating/processing Purchase requisitions & orders and handle invoice related queries.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of spare parts.
  • Recording & maintaining accurate data related to spare part materials purchases & delivery information, utilising SAP software for reliable and ‘clean’ data.
  • Collaborate with various brewery operations colleagues to foster opportunities for cost saving initiatives and provide opportunities to improve procurement processes within spare parts in adherence to budgets set.
  • Implement and ensure compliance of regulations for a safe environment within the warehouse, whilst conducting regular safety audits to identify & mitigate any safety risks.

About The Team

Helping millions of consumers enjoy our beers and ciders is a real team effort. As a Supply Chain colleague, you’ll be part of the biggest function in HEINEKEN UK!

From barley to bar, our Supply Chain produces high-quality beers and ciders, prioritising safety, sustainability and innovation to keep our operations running smoothly.

You’ll be based in the Stores Operations team specifically in our Tadcaster site, supporting the smooth running of production by helping to manage stock, maintain reliable supply processes, and keep information accurate across the department.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking proactive individuals who don’t shy away from striking up conversations and working in a collaborative way to get the job done. Communicating effectively to ensure exceptional service delivered is crucial to be a success in this role.

As well as the above, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within Inventory Management, Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Consolidated knowledge of spare parts and best practices for continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced utilisation of SAP software such as Maximo or similar.
  • Forklift truck license with experience in handling materials is desirable but not mandatory.
