Stores Coordinator – Manufacturing Facility – Newbury, Berkshire

About the Role

At our Manufacturing facility in Newbury, Berkshire, the Teledyne Reynolds Engineering team designs custom interconnect solutions to carry signals from high-voltage power supplies to some of the most advanced technologies—Mars rovers, solar-orbiting probes, and upcoming asteroid missions.

As a ** Stores Coordinator**, you’ll support the Stores department, ensuring smooth operations, timely task completion, and alignment with our Production and Operations teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection & Validation:
    • Assist in inspecting incoming goods to ensure compliance with purchase order criteria and relevant procedures.
    • Verify parts against supplier’s delivery notes and purchase orders, reporting discrepancies to the Stores Coordinator or Purchasing Department.

  • Inventory & Record-Keeping:

    • Enter deliveries into the goods receipt system and maintain electronic records.
    • Ensure computer-recorded and physical stock counts align.
    • Store goods health and safety, supplier, and site standards.
  • Order Fulfillment:

    • Pick items accurately from pick lists raised by Sales, ensuring timely despatch preparation.
    • Pack and dispatch orders to customers while ensuring safe and compliant transport.
    • Include all necessary documentation with shipments.
  • Maintenance & Quality Assurance:

    • Keep stores areas clear and tidy.
    • Collaborate with Purchasing & Quality teams to resolve incorrect shipments.
    • Test and final inspect goods before despatch.
  • Production Support:

    • Prepare wire and cable according to production requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic administrative and organizational skills.
