The Role
As a Store Inspector, you will play a vital role in supporting daily Stores operations, ensuring the accurate handling, inspection, and dispatch of inventory. You’ll work closely with the Stores & Logistics Manager and Senior Base Engineer to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency across all Stores functions.
Key Responsibilities
Operate in accordance with Draken Europe’s SHE Technical Standards and risk assessments. Manage the correct location, issue, and labelling of parts using the Inventory Management System. Conduct Goods Inwards Inspections and ensure compliance with import/export regulations. Maintain clean, secure, and well-organized storage areas. Control and issue company tooling, COSHH cupboards, AGS, and consumables. Monitor shelf-life controlled items and conduct regular stocktakes. Operate forklifts to support Stores functions. Raise dispatch notes and ensure timely, compliant packaging and labelling of goods, including Dangerous Goods. Provide Stores cover at other UK bases and attend training at Bournemouth as required.

Experience / Skills / Qualifications
Essential:
Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills. Previous storekeeping experience. Full UK driving licence. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
BTEC Basic Storekeeping qualification. Aerospace industry experience. Experience with Goods Inwards Inspection and worldwide dispatch. Familiarity with Part 145 regulations and logistical tracking systems.
