Stores Operative – Wheelchair Service (NHS Derbyshire Contract) – Blatchford
About the Role

Our Patient Solutions Team provides the wheelchair service for the NHS in Derbyshire. Join us in delivering exceptional service as a Stores Operative—a key role in our ** склада logistics and supply chain operations**.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving goods & services on behalf of Blatchford
- Inspecting all received goods for accuracy (quantity, description, weight, volume, or company compliance)
- Processing orders from Clinical Teams and Field Service Engineers
- Supporting stock management, including returns and depot restocking
- Preparing stock for booked clinical handovers and Field Service Engineer deliveries
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery or order queries
- Performing administrative duties related to Goods In/Receiving
- Kitting requirements for Job Orders and building assembly stock levels
- Participating in Stock Checks
- Undertaking as-needed driving, including manual handling or operating mechanical equipment (e.g., forklifts, if licensed)

Requirements & Key Skills
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory)
- Desirable: Forklift licence
- Organisational skills—able to manage and prioritise workload
- Strong teamwork and communication (verbal & written)
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Basic IT proficiency
