The Role

  • As a Stores Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping our aircraft flying safely and on time.
  • You’ll support planned maintenance activity by ensuring the right materials, tools, and components are available when they’re needed.
  • With a strong eye for detail and a safety-first mindset, you’ll help maintain our high regulatory and operational standards every single day.

Your work will directly support engineering teams on the ground and contribute to easyJet’s commitment to safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

  • You’ll bring a practical, hands-on approach and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

  • You’ll be comfortable managing stock, tooling, and material flows in a busy operational environment.

  • Key responsibilities include

    • Receiving, inspecting, and handling materials, tooling, and shipments
    • Supporting planned maintenance through accurate pre-loading of aircraft spares
    • Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers to maintain minimum operating requirements
    • Handling unserviceable components, including quarantine and timely returns
    • Supporting COAS requirements and tooling loans between bases
    • Monitoring calibration periods for tools and equipment
    • Working in line with health, safety, regulatory, and company requirements

We’re looking for

  • Experience in an engineering stores or tooling environment is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence using IT systems
  • A flexible approach to meet operational demands and deadlines
  • A current driving licence (this is essential)
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement

Practicalities

  • This full-time role will be based in Luton Airport.
  • We have two positions, working a DDNN 12 hour, and Permanent Nights both 5-5-4 shifts.
