General Summary
This fixed-term position in Banbury, UK, reports to the Stores & Inventory Manager and supports departmental and organisational objectives.
Role Key Points:
- Temporary増加in Stores function workload during a crucial phase of the F1 program (ahead of the upcoming season).
- Focus: Parts receipt, inventory management, kitting, and logistics coordination for car build preparation.
- Once the car builds and race season begins, workload will return to normal levels, ending this temporary role.

Key Responsibilities
Role-Specific Responsibilities
- Event Support: Travel to races as needed to assist Stores & Inventory Manager with parts services.
- Inventory Management:
- Work with other stores, logistics, procurement, and parts coordinators to ensure auditable accuracy.
- Receive parts, verify delivery notes, purchase orders, and physical quantities, entering data into the ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Understand technical drawings to ensure correct product alignment with delivery notes.
- Part Marking & Traceability:
- Ensure serialized part marking meets company standards.
- Manage part traceability in ERP and Lifing systems.
- Stock Control:
- Pick inventory to fulfill requests.
- Flag missing parts or stock discrepancies.
- Oversee movement of proprietary parts and flag demand needs.
- Logistics & Safety:
- Assisting with loading/unloading freight alongside logistics team.
- Compliance with all safety regulations at event venues.
- Miscellaneous Support: Undertake duties as delegated by the Stores & Inventory Manager.

Additional Duties

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE (or equivalent), high school diploma, or vocational equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a stores/logistics inventory or motorsport environment (F1 preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with liability/casualty insurance compliance.
- Leadership experience highly desirable.

Software & Technical Know-How
- Strong computer skills, ideally experience with:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Teams.
- Knowledge of Formula 1 parts (vendors, serialisation, part numbers, assemblies).
- Experience with part marking machines (desirable).
- Forklift licence preferred.
- Understanding of shipment regulations and facility maintenance requirements.
Physical Demands
- Travel: Frequently international, including weekends and long-haul flights.
- Trackside: Standing, walking long distances, noisy/crowded environments.
- Factory: Manual handling, use of machinery; may involve temperature-controlled settings.
- Sensory: Exposed to high noise, bright lighting, and chemicals.
- All roles require adherence to strict safety protocols.
Health & Safety Prequisites
- Mandatory compliance training (health & safety, data protection, regulatory training).
Regulatory Nuances
- Security clearance to National Security Vetting (NSV) standards is mandatory.
- Typically requires 5+ years as a UK resident.
- Overseas criminal records may be needed for UK applicants.
