Stores Supervisor
Salary: £27,500
Working hours: Shift pattern Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:30 and 17:30

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Oversee and monitor stock levels, ensuring adequate supply of materials and timely reordering.
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate recording of inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances.
Team Supervision
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of store staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Assign tasks and oversee the daily activities of warehouse staff, including goods receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members.

Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure the warehouse operates in accordance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and safety checks.
- Promote a safe working environment, ensuring proper use of equipment and PPE.
- Report any health and safety incidents or concerns to the management promptly.
Logistics And Supply Chain Support
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and transport companies to arrange timely deliveries and collections.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are properly documented, labelled, and stored in appropriate locations.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow and minimise downtime.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvements within the warehouse to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement best practices in warehouse management, including lean principles and 5S.
Customer Service
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding stock availability, delivery times, and order status.
- Ensure high standards of service are provided to internal departments and external customers.
