Stores Team Leader
Stores Team Leader
We are seeking determined and committed individuals to join our Stores Team, where you will report to the Stores Manager and Coordinators. Successful candidates will drive performance improvements and contribute to the company’s future growth.
Responsibilities
The Role
- Ensure the Stores department delivers a sustainable service level to all departments
- Oversee the issuing of all packaging, ingredients, and crate stock to production, ensuring:
- Correct batch details are recorded and used at all times
- Quality standards are consistently adhered to
- Maintain sufficient staffing levels
- Conduct weekly Team Briefs
- Monitor and allocate stock levels, assigning checks to Store Operatives
- Enforce company rules and procedures
- Lead and direct a team while working to tight deadlines
- Implement Health and Safety compliance within your area of accountability
- Ensure all documentation is completed correctly
- Conduct packaging traces as required
- Oversee the execution of tare checks by Stores Operatives where applicable
- Perform additional duties as directed by Stores Coordinators or Stores Manager

Requirements
The Person
Essential Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications
- Previous experience in a production or stores environment
- Strong communication skills for:
- Conducting team briefs
- Written and verbal documentation
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to:
- Lead and motivate a team
- Collaborate effectively

IT Skills (Essential)
- Proficient use of relevant workplace IT systems
Desirable
- 1+ years of supervisory experience (not strictly required)
