About The Role
Behavox’s Strategic Account Managers own the full commercial relationship with some of the world’s most complex and highly regulated financial institutions, including:
- Global banks
- Hedge funds
- Asset managers
- Energy firms operating under demanding regulatory frameworks
Key Responsibilities
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for:
- Full end-to-end ownership of the relationship, ensuring Behavox delivers against client needs while positioning the platform as a defensible core control system.
- Strategic account growth, including:
- Executional ownership of outcomes, commercial performance, and executive relationships.
- Long-term planning for compliance frameworks integrating:
- Communications surveillance
- Trade surveillance
- Compliant archiving
- Policy management
- Autonomous account strategy, handled with minimal managerial oversight in:
- Contract renewals
- Escalations
- Strategic executive engagement
The role demands strategic big-picture thinking alongside operational execution—often on the same day.
Core Account Obligations
The Strategic Account Manager will:
- Own renewals across all client relationships, driving retention and expansion through:
- Developing retention strategies
- Leading complex contract negotiations
- Reviewing ARR churn risk forecasts and devising mitigation plans
- Forecast and mitigate high-risk client churn accurately
- Execute inbound and strategic expansion deals, aligned with Account Executives under a Unit of One model
- Lead executive business reviews (EBRs) and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with:
- Clarity on compliance posture
- Assessments of regulatory risk maturity
- Demonstrations of platform value rather than generic updates
- Escalation & operational integrity:
- Triaging, escalating, and resolving complex multi-workstream issues independently.
- Building rapid resolution collaboration with internal team (Product, Engineering, and Support).

What You’ll Bring

Deep subject matter expertise in enterprise compliance technology & unified controls ecosystems: Know how surveillance, trade oversight, archiving, and policy management intersect in global financial institutions. Understand how compliance maturity develops over time and evaluate why clients choose—or choose not to upgrade—unified frameworks.

Extensive knowledge of financial services regulation: Proficiency in communication monitoring (e.g., SEC, FINRA, EU MiFIDII), trade reconstruction requirements, and regulatory archiving mandates across:
- Banking sectors
- Hedge funds
- Asset management
- Energy finance markets

Proven expertise in multi-stakeholder account management in highly complex, regulated environments: Manage relationships with Heads of Surveillance, compliance analysts, IT functions, and front-office operations teams simultaneously.

Full commercial lifecycle management skills for enterprise SaaS environments: Drive end-to-end contract renewal cycles, including:
- Strategic retention/downgrade mitigation
- Accuracy in burn/indicative churn forecasting
- Personal, data-driven negotiation and close execution

Authority and operational capability in escalation/resolution dynamics: Take full ownership of:
- Escalation triage
- Multi-customer escalations
- Firm-wide accountability for on-time delivery health
What You’ll Do

Account health monitoring and proactive risk identification: Independently assess commercial, operational, and relationship risk across accounts. Move quickly to prevent disruptions.

Executive engagement and business review leadership: Design and conduct QBRs and EBRs targeted at compliance growth, not feature updates. Drive actionable discussions about:
- Detectable risk exposure
- Regulatory changes
- Controls framework gaps
