About the Role
Are you a driven professional with a talent for cultivating strong client relationships and a passion for business growth? Our client, a leading supplier of parts to the construction industry, is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Strategic Business Development/Account Manager to join their team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who excels in:
- Identifying new opportunities

You will cover the North of England through to Scotland, blending on-the-road work with remote office hours.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve and surpass regional gross profit (GP) and revenue targets

Account Growth & Retention
- Fix ‘down-spending’ accounts to recover lost revenue
- Secure customer spending commitments
- Focus on maximising growth with a high-growth potential approach to existing accounts

Strategic Account Management
- Develop and execute strategic plans for your customer portfolio
- Prioritise key markets and customers
- Strategically book and attend face-to-face meetings with:
- High-value growth accounts
- New prospective clients

CRM & Follow-Up Management
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with:
- Detailed customer interaction records
- Thorough planning and follow-up strategies

Benefits
- Salary: £60,000 (OTE – £70k)
- Holiday: 33 days total (25 paid + 8 additional)
